M4A file is an audio coding format by Apple, which is used for storing audio data without any quality loss. Since Apple began using “.m4a” in its iTunes and iPod to distinguish MPEG4 video and audio files, the extension “.m4a” has become more and more popular.
Because it is the most widely used format for audio files, the MP3 format is compatible with most devices. However, Apple uses M4A format which needs to be converted. Using VideoPower YELLOW, you can convert M4A to MP3.

Step 1: Launch Audio Converter
After successfully installing VideoPower YELLOW, click the menu icon in the upper-right corner of the interface.

Step 2: Add the M4A file
Click “Add” to import the M4A file. You can also add as many files as you want.

Step 3: Convert M4A to MP3
3.1 Set output format.
The default output format is MP3, you can also set another format for your M4A to MP2, WMA, AAC, etc.

3.2 Start Conversion.
Check the box on the left side of the M4A file(s) that you want to convert and click the “Start” button to start conversion.

After the process is finished, a pop-up small window will ask you if you want to check the results in the output folder. Click “Yes” to open the converted and saved audio files.
